God's Pies: A funny and sobering look at how we divide our resources

Last week I promised that we would be rolling out some new features for the blog in the coming month, and here's the first one: I'm going to regularly troll through the Internet to find a Video of the Week.

Some of these videos will be professionally produced, others will be off the cuff from amateurs and churches. And they will run the gamut from funny to moving to encouraging to shaming. Whatever I can find that I think will have benefit for small-group leaders!

Here's the first one, from Worship House Media. It's supposed to be a look at financial resources, but I think it does just as well speaking about our time—or our total allocation of resources in general. Enjoy!

I enjoyed the video, and thought it was thought provoking, in a Christian sort of way. Then I clicked on the video and it took me to YouTube, where people who don't share my Christian perspective commented on it.

Wow. What an eye-opener. It is amazing how angry people are at just the idea of God.

Makes me realize that the very idea that being aware of God is an "unnatural" situation. Great reminder.

I'm wondering what's the video for the week.. Then i go end up watching the video. Well honestly I really enjoy the video. Most people nowadays or even me forget what's really our purpose here. We even forget God and prioritize our own agenda on living. I don't even remember when is the last time i go for a church. Hope to see more updated videos here.
